I do a lot of shopping at Costco. It's Canadian HQ is in Nepean.
US Costco recently settled a deal with their labour union setting a minimum wage of $30USD per hour.
I'm carefully watching how they're going to treat Canadian labour.
And how they manage their supply chain. Pork is one thing I've noticed is US-sourced (Tyson Foods).
Either way, the profits flow back to the main US Costco. Generally a well-run operation.
Will I be forced to return to Loblaws as the mostly Canadian option?
