anyone who has actually seen cops being called on a domestic abuse scenario, or been the abuse victim in said scenario, should know that the liberal fantasy of the cops heroically saving the victim is pure fantasy and at best they will do nothing and leave and make the abuser more angry and violent, and at worst the victim may end up dead or in prison if she did anything to fight back and/or isn’t white
framing it as either you call the cops or you support the abuser is dangerously reductive.
