Got a haircut and found the rarest of unicorns: a stylist who didn’t make me talk! She sat me down, asked what I wanted, then artfully performed the minimum amount of conversation for someone about to hack away a third of my hair. Like just enough to laugh a little, so I feel safe, but then, when I stopped talking, she just focused on her work and let me sit there. Oh, you beautiful hair mistress, I’ve finally found you.
