Whenever I start using a new piece of software or hardware, it literally does not matter what it is (even Apple products), it NEVER works right out of the box. I always have to do some kind of rain dance to make it work. Like "oh, I can't just plug the display port in, I have to plug in display port and then plug in and rip out an HDMI cable and THEN display port works".
Absolutely everything in my entire life has been like this without exception.
