Our farmer’s market is so good, a big bag of already cut kabocha squash is only a buck. I’ve also learned that if I go later when the farmers are wanting to drive back to the Central Valley, everything becomes a buck or two.
Farmers markets in working class neighborhoods (civic center and Alemany) are so great. The fancy ones are better for photos
