"content": "…CO2 is emitted. Burning less coal or gas in a year means emitting fewer greenhouse gases. Renewables are available more of the time than people assume, which is why although there are times when a lot of gas may be needed, this is offset by more times when it isn’t. That is why our carbon intensity continues to fall. Notice also the impact of demand reduction over the decade. Electricity not needed is gas/coal not burned.",
