so last night our combi boiler started being fucky, timing out on ignition. hit reset, it would attempt again, sometimes lighting but mostly not, and typically going back out and timing out within an hour.

because I'm an idiot I forgot that annual servicing is a thing so it's way overdue, so I sent out some requests for quotes. got one reply out of four - no availability - so I figured sod it, I'll read the service manual and see if there's anything I can take a crack for now.
