A reminder of what will face our new Govt. tomorrow...
Leaving aside nominal GDP & focussing on GDP per capita, we see an economy that is not only off its trend of economic growth from pre-2008, it hasn't even equalled the pre-Covid (diminished) trend.
[I know for many you a focus on growth is mistaken, form discussions in my timeline, but at least if offers a clue to why we feel we're living in a stagnating economy]
Getting off this flattened trend is the challenge for Labour!
