I went through something similar very, very early in the pandemic, infected by a student returning from Wuhan, China. Took me about 2-1/2 years to find near-normal again, but not as bad as you're enduring. Still wear out fast, no stamina. Could have been worse. We survived, had the option to retire early, but wasn't the plan.
