I wonder if anyone's studying covid folk wisdom — now that there's essentially zero official guidance or acknowledgement, I hear a lot of stuff, mostly on here, about it. Clearly some of it is obviously sensible and probably correct, and some of it sounds alarmist but might be correct, I don't know. I reckon someone could do a really interesting PhD in where these ideas come from and how they spread given we have this uniquely digitised record of a whole bunch of new beliefs about the same thing springing up around the same time.
