Today I learned the collective noun for a group of squid is “shoal" but cephalopod fans around the world have come together to change this to “squad.” There is even a petition on Change Dot Org... but it has only gathered 5151 signatures and I can think of nothing else more important to saving democracy and the earth than getting this done.
Anyway here is a squad of squid flying over Berkeley.
