FYI This never got resolved!
I got 1 email response from a support staff after posting the below back in November but then all further messages were again ignored. I have no idea what i did wrong to deserve this 🤷♂️
I simply didn't and don't have time to keep trying to get a response so payments to join the relay are disabled, and i guess @ZBD just gets to keep whatever few sats were left in the account. I'm leaving the relay up for now so that any members can continue to use it. No guarantees on how many months that will go on for though.
