In my dissatisfaction that The Web decided it needed to become Flash to kill Flash today I'll start studying Ruffle's reimplementation (in Rust) of Flash's v1 VM. Starting with core components.
Amongst these I see error codes indicating which limits were breached, "parse" (strip prefix) & dispatch (via another object) command strings, constructor functions, a VM value with or without an "object" to call, clamp-to-range, stackframes, tests, & test-environment builders.
