For the government to mark BTC as a security would imply that they have the power to regulate it. If they were to realize that they DON’T have the power to regulate it, then they would be forced to endorse it and label it a commodity. Failure to do this would make them look weak and would be a defacto endorsement of BTC since the world would be privy to watching the most powerful government in the world exert its power to shut down Bitcoin only to fail. So a government endorsement of Bitcoin is really just tantamount to an admission that BTC is what we say it is….an unstoppable decentralized network 💯
