I'm curiously following a bunch of rich influencers who are live streaming themselves riding out the hurricane in waterfront houses they've modified to withstand the wind and storm surges.

Part of me just finds it amusing that they are confident they are rich enough to fight nature and win. Meanwhile the high risk tolerance part of me is considering how much cheaper it'd be to build a hurricane fortress in Florida than it would be to buy a house in LA.
