This has actually been the most convincing argument so far. He has up until now believed the established “wisdom” that a little inflation is necessary to keep the economy going. But when I explained that consumption will still occur in a price deflationary system, except that consumption will be more thoughtful, something clicked for him. He does want to see a world where quality of goods increases and beauty is aspired to. It was an interesting reminder that bitcoin is multifaceted and each person will be drawn to different aspects.
