Back in July, I got a Rubik's Cube. I learned the basic algorithms, memorized them, and practiced until I could reliably solve a scrambled cube without any assistance.

I then put it down and forgot all of it. Like, it's impressive how little I retained. You do something to match colors... maybe? Oh, and the movement notation contains an apostrophe. Totally remember that part.
