to curb down fake reviews, there are probably many approaches, but going through a mandatory account that's shared across review sites (anonymous if you wish), could help flag accounts that post 10000 reviews automatically, as well as accounts that always post glaring reviews of products nobody has heard of. Machine learning the the rescue, to give a credibility score to each reviewer - low credibility -> remove reviews accordingly.
