I've been using Nostr for about 6 weeks, and the data usage on mobile is rough. I'd like to see a Nostr chat-only client for mobile which subscribes only to type 4 (private chat) and type 42 (group chat).

Couple that with a web service which listens for those messages and sends an Android/iOS push, and we'd have a direct replacement for Snapchat, Signal, etc.
