Sometimes I think about how I can't tell whether my illness is getting more severe over time or not - because the amount of activities I can't opt out of has changed so I don't have a steady baseline to compare - and it makes me feel a bit panicky that I might be steadily declining without being able to tell.
So that's not really very fun.
