Saw an article somewhere re: this year being the year of physical media, thanks to all the streaming services flipping out and simultaneously dropping content and raising prices.
We have finite physical storage here at the house, but we also have a LOT of DVDs that, realistically, we’re never gonna watch again — I’ve been totally spoiled by blu-ray and/or 4K.
So I anticipate a multi-phase cull, wherein some things get replaced, and some things are just bid a fond farewell.
I guess if you live in Durham, either (a) be on the lookout for me to post a giveaway list, and/or (b) be ready to check the shelves at TROSA thrift.
Especially if you live literally a block or less away from me . . .
