I read Madeline Miller’s wonderful novel Circe a couple of years ago - gives you a completely different perspective on the myth. We’re conditioned by the Iliad and Odyssey to see Odysseus as a hero - which in many ways he is. But Circe’s left with a different view!
I’m firmly on the side of the women: Circe, Ariadne, Cassandra, Briseis, Helen, Clytemnestra, and the rest!
Well done Minima! And the ‘stop’ gesture from Minimus, how did you manage to make it so dynamic?!
