#debian #linux question: I’ve been having issues on a server that might be caused by booting through uefi. I’d like to backup my install, then do a fresh install that boots via legacy and restore. What’s the best way to do it? Can I just … copy all my files to a thumb drive and it’ll save all the permissions and owners and stuff?
