Most people have no idea of the many obstacles to gaining work that exist for homeless people. Even simple things like being able to wash and wear clean clothes to make yourself presentable, getting to an interview or place of work when you can barely even afford food, and may not even have had a decent night's sleep. When you are homeless you own no more than you can carry, and maybe not even that if mindless thugs have attacked you and robbed you of everything you possessed.
