I confess that I have little patience for elderly Boomers who fumble with smartphone apps, contactless payments and other modern tech conventions.

I am a digital native. I’ve been using computers since I was eight, started using smart phones long before the iPhone. This is a domain I understand.

But when I look in the mirror I'm reminded that I'm a middle-aged Gen Xer. That's me in 2040, getting laughed at because I have no idea how to use the three shells.

Life comes at you fast.
