Okay, random history research question!
I've finally tracked down what Lore Harp's maiden name was: Lange Hegermann.
She's often described her grandfather as a politician and economist in Weimar Germany.
So who was he?
It's not a mis-spelling of Werner Hegemann. He died too young. Harp was born in 1944 and she remembers her grandfather, and living in a house with him.
Should add this is not CRITICAL to my research. I'm just intrigued. #histodons #germany
