#PennedPossibilities 464 2/2 — Imagine a horror universe where your SC has been dropped and is now possessed by a demon. How would / wouldn’t they survive this?

The characters in the reluctance universe have no conception of the supernatural. In the event of something horrific, they would look for functional and physics-based answers, starting with calling the medics or the constables.

That said "possessed by a daemon" isn't impossible. A day angel I know was never particularly good at making decisions, and when she did they often weren't the best. Like the time she broke a window and rolled some vans down a hill, then fled for another city. There, needing coin, she agreed to do a few messenger jobs for someone on the street who paid her. Her third job had her land where someone would be found murdered. Her presence in the vicinity got her blackmailed by the local crime boss—a daemon. In all but a strictly literal sense, she ended up possessed by him for almost a decade.

PS: I accidentally wrote about my MC yesterday, so I am double-dipping, but I like dip with my chips. 💔
