Did something happen at the end of the old babyfur.me? I know it struggled with moderation towards the end, but that felt more like burnout over the community in general, which I get. And making the same mistakes twice is understandable when you go a decade in between running servers.

I dunno. ​ My big takeaway is that it's a community-run social network, so the stakes aren't nearly as high as people are acting. Not purging the exif data from photos is pretty bad, but also that's as much user error as it is a problem with the server.
