I’ve been trying to explain these cold-shiver-out-of-body spells for AT LEAST since I was a teenager, but I didn’t have the right words or imagery for anyone to recognize them as seizures, so ALL MY LIFE I’ve attributed it to some kind of creative spiritual epiphany, even though I KNEW that something more earthbound was much more likely at play.
