"content": "A winter evening on our seaside pitch at Bensersiel (📷1). The low-lying Ostfriesische Inseln | East Frisian Islands were created by wind \u0026 sea ~2,500 yrs ago. They form a natural breakwater, shielding the mudflats from the sea; offshore from Bensersiel is Langeoog (📷2). Exposed to wind \u0026 rain (📷3), campers also need a close eye on the tide table: surges are not uncommon.
