its accurate, i think the blame lies more with him than 23andme, he probably does have 2.4%, if i found out i had 2.4% that wouldn't case me to throw away my entire ideology, that's such a small insignificant amount , he's the one that's at fault here for throwing away his ideology because of a tiny percent of dna, and he probably didn't have that strong of convictions in the first place if something so small could destroy it like that
