I bought a Samsung 990 Pro today for C3 because I wanted demo system to boot quickly... and oh boy, what a ride.
Swapped random Kingston SSD I had in that system (removed from a Chromebook, so it was *really* slow) and tried to install the OS... it wouldn't get detected.
I started digging in my code thinking *something* was wrong, changing PCI-E settings... to no avail. It wouldn't make sense anyway, as I'm running the same exact board with Kingston KC3000 SSD at home and it works flawlessly.
In the end, I stumbled upon thread on Proxmox forums that folks had the same issues... and suggested workaround worked

Fingers crossed there's a firmware upgrade in LVFS...
