It's growing at nearly 10k accounts/day at the moment, but I don't expect major groups until it is either much bigger or for groups that don't need to reach a wider audience. My use of Insta was mostly to keep in touch with family, not to reach a wider audience audience, so I'm not sure how my use of Pixelfed will evolve.
