I wonder if it’s easy to come down on him as he will have signed the official secrets act and his knowledge will likely have come from overhearing the PM. I.e. He wouldn’t have been briefed and wouldn’t have been part of an open secret being gossiped on WhatsApp. His is a different kind of crime.
