If one cannot spend time with them everyday they should not be bringing them home in the first place. They form an emotional bond with their caretaker and if you're absent for long periods it affects them. I had to spend considerable time moving my pets to Delhi and making them comfortable with my family there so that they don't feel completely lost without me. My work is in education field.
