Owning a Tesla or any other electric vehicles in that regard is NOT the flex you think it is. Electric vehicles were made not for the environment but for the dying car industry. The automotive industry co-opted environmentalism to sell more cars but never actually cared about the planet. Environmentalism without class struggle is plain gardening. If they really want to advocate for the planet, they would advocate for accessible mass transportation for everyone. But of course that's not profitable.
