Hey my sister women (not fellow sisters! as troons say!)
I've finally found out for sure as of yesterday that I have a very mild and SYMPTOMLESS Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. My understanding is that it's only been found in my colon and the offending two polyps were removed when I had the colonoscopy. That was a matter of course apparently but the biopsy turned up these cells after the surgery.
They were pretty decent about the whole thing but tending to present the worst case scenario. There was a push for me to take the clotshot and I said I firm no. This made me lose faith in the doctor actually though she's supposed to be one of the best oncologists in Vancouver for this particular cancer.
The treatment they WANT but haven't decided for sure because I have to have more tests is https://www.drugs.com/rituximab.html a monoclonal anti-body. Apparently it's only one five hour injection, once a week for a month. I can't even imagine being able to sit still for that long but maybe you don't have to.
Of course the side effects are heinous, way worse than anything I have now.
Any suggestions or experiences with these things or cancer in general about yourself or anyone else you know who won't mind you talking about their situation here would be much appreciated. We can always take it private if it's too much!
I've recently read that Vitamin C IVs is a good additional treatment but haven't looked into that at all, just received and skimmed this article. https://ianbrighthope.substack.com/p/leukaemia-and-vitamin-c
Thanks so much for your help.
