yeah, it feels like we are molecules of a crystal and gitcitadel is the seed around which we can aggregate and build structure...

we are going to formalize the nostr protocol, slice it into clean domains and interfaces, and build tools to enable expanding it to new applications

there is always a messy initial stage with making a new system and honestly the NIPs repository is a classic example of how it turns into an incomprehensible mess that makes building especially servers (relays) difficult, as well as new kinds of apps - at this point, nostr is easy to write xitter clones for, but shit for anything else, and especially including DM and group chat and topic and private owner based communities, let alone document repositories, media repositories and software/media production repositories

i am learning how to use the tools that SilberWitch (nprofile…mm8q) has been constantly talking about and applying them to my paid gig's work and my boss at the paid gig, he has it in mind that sooner or later we will find funding to build out stuff from his projects to mesh with the nostr ecosystem - and for similar purposes - to allow us to obsolete ... gmail/protonmail, gsuite, calendar, bit.ai, facebook, xitter, instascam, crinkedin and all the other shits, into one borderless, decentralised web of applications where users have self sovereign identities and can easily deploy services that are easily discovered by other people and so on and so on yada yada insert hip jargon buzzword here (yes, AI, i forgetted ai)
