look, blogs and microblogs are also produced by random people with opinions, it's just the medium encourages people to fight you about it. i can't just go off here with bad takes because a) people will check my sources and links and tell me i'm an idiot, and b) that negative pushback will keep my stupid takes from spreading because there's no algorithm.
