Never did. I’m sure I’ve written before that when there’s a disagreement between countries/leaders - they should have to fight it out between themselves, and not put thousands of innocents on the line to do their dirty work for them. And it should be done over a chessboard, or a draughtboard, with a prior agreement of what the winner gets. Biden’s [and Starmer’s] response with Israel emboldened a great deal of what we are seeing now, I think; it has given Trump licence [even though he didn’t need it] to tear up all agreements and do as he wishes. Likewise, the supression of peaceful protestors has emboldened the right to promote racism, immigration resentment, hate against many minorities, knowing they face minimal consequences. All our governments are at fault, and they need to do better. Our societies are sick and only focussed on money for me, not on community and the greater good.
