while we're all calming down since there are actually not three million toothbrushes ddossing switzerland, can we also at least acknowledge that "yeah actually i wired the money because uhhhh the scammers deepfaked like 15 people perfectly. that's what happened. everyone would have fallen for this, because it was very good deepfakes" is a pretty convenient excuse if you're the clerk who just wired the money to scammers?
