One of my neighbors is a cop. She really likes me and seems really nice but I let her know that I don’t want to be friends because she’s a cop. It has made her really sad (and her kids who are friends with my kids). I love and host her kids all the time, but she knows how I feel about her. Tell the cops in your life ACAB no matter how hard it is. It’s awkward but necessary work.
