I went to my primary care doc's office for a visit two days ago & was told the hospital system she's affiliated with were having computer problems & the entire network had been down for a week. I didn't realize it was a ransomware thing involving the parent company that owns all the local hospitals.

Yet another reason why corporations gobbling up all these local hospitals is a very bad idea.
