I'm @ ground zero when it comes to linux, have not started. I have an extra HP laptop to install on that's only a year old. Wondering where to get basic info on how to reformat and or remove all the Microsoft and HP crap on it and install clean linux, etc like you mentioned. Or do I need to get another type of laptop, etc?
Appreciate your help getting started! I've been online since 95 and can't believe I have waited this long lol.
