Memorisation isn’t learning.
Memorising the times tables didn’t teach me multiplication (if anything it made it more difficult)
Not saying there’s no use for memorisation, but this is a real “give someone a fish vs teach them to fish” situation. Memorisation without understanding is just… stupid.
