re IPFS podcasting (client side), this has been a little side hobby. I worked with a few IPFS ppl and even prototyped running an ipfs node on mobile. It worked but was way too resource heavy.

The "new" approach is to have a rotating list of ipfs gateways. The client side lib is supposed to do some random selection+testing to find the fastest gateways per client and pull content over https from that.

There's a non-native prototype of this on the app stores called "Durin".
