Sat down and did some green-stuff work on the Nurgle Knight! Lots of tentacles all over. I've determined I'll need to do it in at least two stages; so taking a break for now.
I also experimented with combining Miliput + "Green Stuff" and the combined material is much more forgiving to work with. I'll be filing it away for future projects.
