For quite a few years, I’ve intermittently got weird spam that accuses me of war crimes. Often of torturing people, more often of using directed energy weapons, and cc’ing folks at the UN. Today I got some on LinkedIn, accusing me of using biological weapons (in concert with the University of Canterbury).
Does anyone know what this is scam trying to do? I’m guessing they want me to engage so that they can take a money to drop it or something?
I assumed it was a common thing, but no one I’ve shown the messages to has received anything similar.
