It feels like lots of these Social apps coming out proposing additional ways to connect to other people are losing the battle. The Value prop isn’t there when you can just zap on Nostr.
This is a magic social protocol. I’ve never seen anything like this.
I can send money to someone for helping me out with a question and I don’t know that mf. I didn’t even ask him to give me his coordinates and I still paid him.
How can you beat that? You can’t. At least not today.
The follow-up question is: how can something so obvious be missed by so many people.
Outside the people using Nostr, I try explaining the value prop to family and friends and no one seems to grasp it.
