He wants to go to a women's prison. He is being held in the men's while Corrections Canada evaluates how dangerous he is. I'm hoping that this case has been followed enough that they won't do it. But we know they have done it before. The fact that not everyone is playing along with the pronouns might make them think twice. Especially if the mother keeps speaking out.
The fact that the male anchor used the correct name and pronouns (and has every time I have heard him speak of this case) gives me hope that the gendershit is slipping, at least at the French branch of the CBC.
